Meet Kevin “Mac" McGovern
I am Kevin "Mac" McGovern, your VCDD 8 Board Supervisor. I was raised along with my five siblings in Indianapolis, IN. The Navy brought me to Florida at 17 years old for Boot Camp, I retired 41 years later as a Navy Captain and Afghanistan veteran. My belief is that I am the best suited candidate to serve you as your VCDD 8 Board Supervisor. As a former Navy Officer, Engineer and Program Manager who knows budgets, contracts and the technical aspects (infrastructure) of our community, I will continue to be your advocate. I promise to the best of my ability, to work for you and keep our District an affordable, beautiful and safe place to live for all! Maggie & I will be campaigning in the District and look forward to meeting you!
